Eldtomta has a long history as a trading place. Until the mid-19th century, trade was only allowed in cities. Industrialization allowed trading to also take place in rural areas, leading to the establishment of Eldtomta trading in 1879. Now, barrels of herring and horseshoes have been relegated to history and replaced by an authentic café, offering high quality and great ambitions.
Enjoy handmade pastries, buns and cookies made with natural ingredients or food cooked with care and love. We offer beer and wine crafted in an artisanal way. In our deli cabinet, you will find delightful, local products to take home as a gift. Our staff takes good care of you, and you can choose to sit indoors in the cozy environment or in our lovely garden. Here, you will experience a high quality traditional Swedish fika.
Since 2022, Eldtomta is run by Malin and her family, who are developing and enhancing this popular and beloved café.
